If you can’t laugh, you’ll cry! That is one of the many poetic and wonderfully philosophical quotes I have lived by since I was 15! But another, and yet very contradictory quote I have loved is…”tears are antifreeze for the soul”. Yet another favorite was “its only fun and games until someone gets their eye poked out (or in)!” Hahahaha. Or a quote I learned “you cant go your whole life trying to fit square pegs into round holes.” “Reality isn’t real, dreams are” – Tupac Shakure (have that one tattood on my arm). “When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life in such a way, that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice!” –Indian Phable I have had that last one memorized since the moment I read it at 15 years old! (I was born 1979). Here are a few more off the top of my head.

“What grows in the dark dies in the light”
“Shoot for the moon and if you fall short you’ll still be amongst the stars”
Quotes have helped me through this life just as much as music and painting have helped.
